Representing Coastline Show Chorus and Merrimack Valley Acapella
Rhode Island
Formed in October 2019, Carried Away Quartet is a group of four friends with a love for a cappella singing and ringing those barbershop chords. Their cumulative barbershop musical experience spans over 70 years. With their repertoire of jazz, rock, crooner and traditional tunes, you’re guaranteed to get Carried Away!
Honey Bunches of Notes have been singing together since 2012 under different names (and member combinations). We finally settled on Bunches in 2016 and never looked back. We love singing a variety of songs from barbershop standards to more contemporary acapella arrangements. Bunches enjoys performing in various venues as well as competing in SAI regional competitions. We were excited to receive the Novice Quartet award in 2017 and place 5th in the 2023 SAI regional competition.
Bunches also loves sharing our passion for the barbershop craft with the next generation of singers, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the SAI Young Women in Harmony chorus in January of 2023. We are all proud members of our home SAI chorus, Harmony on the Sound (HOTS) from Trumbull, Connecticut, and Vocal Rewind, a small acapella group composed of HOTS singers.

Introducing Let’s Sing Again. All four members are from Coastline Show Chorus: Carol Driscoll, tenor; Martha Jacovoni, lead, Debra Rasnick, baritone; and Christine Powers, bass. Carol and Martha sang together in Alakazam for years. Debra sang with Grace Notes quartet when she was a member of San Diego Chorus. Christine sang with Flyin’ High. We’re having fun and making music - what a life!”
This group is no stranger to four-part a cappella harmony. Terry, Kay and Jill have sung together for many years in their chorus and a previous quartet, and Kate also has chorus and quartet experience. We are excited to be on this new journey together, and proud to represent Northern Voices A Cappella & Merrimack Valley A Cappella.
We first sang together in the Twilight of a full moon in July 2022, just before our Farmington Valley chorus rehearsal and decided then and there to register as an SAI quartet. No strangers to SAI performance and competition, we're having fun blending our respective barbershop chops and following our sound to where it leads us......into the Twilight zone!

VOCE is a barbershop quartet based in New England. We formed in late 2014 and have been on the fast track to award winning success brought about by hard work, setting goals and having lots of fun. VOCE was honored to earn 6th place this past year in Sweet Adelines International contest in Phoenix. Three members belong to high level small choruses, Millennium Magic Chorus. Even though they are relatively young as a foursome, they have 75+ years of barbershop experience among them and have competed internationally at the chorus/quartet level over 40 times.
