Region 1 - Who We Are:
North Atlantic Region 1 is an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop harmony. We are affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, one of the world's largest singing and music education organizations for women.
Simply called "Region 1" - we are represented by women living in all 6 New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut) plus Northern New York in the USA as well as Quebec, Canada. ________________________________________________________________________
Mission Statement The purpose of North Atlantic Region 1 is to provide an atmosphere in which each member may reach her fullest potential and to promote progressive ideas for the musical and administrative growth of its entire membership.
