___________________________________________________________  The members of North Atlantic Region 1 are pleased to offer three scholarships for young women to attend the 2013 Harmony Explosion (Music) Camp to be held in at Worcester State College, MA, in August, 2013. Read more in the YWIH section . A random drawing will be held on June 30, 2013 for the scholarships _________________________________________________________________ North Atlantic Region 1 is an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop harmony. We are affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, one of the world's largest singing and music education organizations for women.
Simply called "Region 1" - we are represented by women living in all 6 New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut) plus Northern New York in the USA as well as Quebec, Canada.

Mission Statement The purpose of North Atlantic Region 1 is to provide an atmosphere in which each member may reach her fullest potential and to promote progressive ideas for the musical and administrative growth of its entire membership.
